With reference to my lotter No. 2442/1, dated

26th. May 1909 and subaequant correspondence, in which

you advised me that copies of this letter and enclosures

would be duly forwarded to F.B.M. Kinister at Poking and

to Mr. Bland, and at the same time stated th t in view

of the remedial measures then underaken by the Viceroy in

consultation with the Vanaging Director, you held the

opinion that official application for the help of the

Vinister was not at the time advisable, I now frwerd copies
